This masterclass takes an in-depth guided tour of Japanese teas, led by Harumi, a certified Japanese tea instructor. A range of green teas, such as an award-winning tamaryokucha, hojicha and matcha, all of which have unique profiles, will be tasted. You’ll learn to identify the flavours of Japanese green tea and hear about how processing methods affect the aroma, taste and look of the tea leaf. Expert tips on brewing Japanese tea will also be shared.

In this masterclass you’ll learn how to select, prepare and taste tea like an expert. Thibaut will also share his journey to becoming a tea sommelier at one of Australia’s most acclaimed restaurants.
