As an Aboriginal conservation biologist, I have always had a strong passion for our natural environment. I have shared my extensive knowledge of our indigenous foods and medicines through cultural walks, tours and cooking classes as well as workshops in Aboriginal health and wellness. In 2016, my lifelong passion and experience was channelled into launching LORE Australia: a health and wellness company that combines ancient wisdom with today’s wellness goals.

FERMENTING TEA - JUN & KOMBUCHA BREWING

Having loved and lived fermentation of many kinds for over 30 years, it wasn’t until I needed to focus on using my ferments to help heal my youngest daughters little gut that my small business grew quite organically into The Fermentary. I am honoured to be able to teach what I love and share my ferments Australia wide. This month I’ve released my first book ‘Ferment for Good’ written to encourage people into this magical world of fermentation.

I'm the owner of Melbourne based tea company Storm in a Teacup.  I love, learn about and share both the Chinese and Japanese style tea ceremony. I regularly travel to origin to learnabout tea in the field and take sabbaticals in nature to learn directly from tea as plant medicine. I see tea and the rituals that surround it as a complete spiritual practice that creates a reciprocal relationship of love between people, animals, plants and planet. It's a life journey, an art form, and a profound way to connect with meaning in our lives today.

I grew up drinking Rooibos tisanes from birth and my passion and love for tea has grown with time. In 2014, I co-founded Impala + Peacock Artisan Teas based in Melbourne and since its inception I have been involved in brewing, blending and cupping teas daily, in the pursuit of amazing tea and tisane creations. I am also passionate about tea education and spreading the love of tea.
